The Wheatsheaf Inn bar is as fine an example of a traditional Scottish pub as you will come across. It is a place full of character – and a place full of characters, on both sides of the beer taps. It’s a place where the company is good and the craic excellent.
The bar stocks a wide range of lagers and beers, but specialises in real, draught and cask ales, some sourced from local breweries, and rotated on a weekly basis. These include Goldihops, Pentland IPA, Clipper IPA, Landlord, and many more. The Wheatsheaf has received awards from the Campaign for Real Ale over many years in recognition of our efforts.
The bar gantry displays a wealth of Scottish heritage and culture, carrying many famous traditional single malt and blended whiskies, many aged.
The Wheatsheaf is not a football pub as such, but does have BT Sport. There is an upstairs room with a state-of-the-art HD TV which will allow sporting events to be watched in a dedicated and exclusive area.
